After talking about Beyond The Myth in class i wanted to watch the documentary for myself. I am a huge animal person and have never been around a pit bull i didn’t love. I believe as said in the documentary there is no dangerous breed but there are individual dangerous dogs. Social implications are all throughout this documentary with the two opposing sides. Those who do not think pit bulls are dangerous or viscous and those who do. This documentary made me feel so may different ways. I went from being mad, to upset, to literally sick to my stomach at what they were able to do to some peoples pets. My pets are my children and i would go to jail before i let someone take them from me. I can not even imagine the way all these people felt. As the documentary explains many people were furious over these pit bull bans and even hid their dogs to allow them to stay with their families. I don’t even know what to write because there are so many different thoughts going through my head. Out of all the documentaries i have watched so far this one got to me the most.
