Rachels mom reached out about setting up a senior session for her daughter. We chatted back & forth then settled on a date & location. I send all my seniors a questionnaire before their sessions to try to get to know a little about them. Rachels’s questionnaire was my absolute favorite this far among all the years I have been shooting. I always ask my seniors their favorite feature about themselves and their least favorite about themselves. Usually, this helps me when shooting to highlight what they love & work with what they don’t love. Rachels’s answers though were not physical traits at all but were characteristics about herself. What is your favorite feature about yourself? Rachel answered, “my sense of humor, my intuition” & what is your least favorite feature? Rachel answered “procrastination”. I love that her answers were not physical features at all. In a world where everything is about how you look or dress Rachel was able to still focus on what really matters & for that, I am so proud. Congratulations beautiful! I can’t wait to watch you grow from here.
