Megan was not one of my typical brides. Usually, I have tons of communications with my brides in the months leading up to their weddings. I meet them at their engagement session if I haven’t met them before. I am able to get to know them a little bit before their big day. Although with Megan I met her about 15 minutes before she walked down the aisle! Crazy, right? I shot Megan’s best friend’s mother’s wedding years ago. Her best friend’s mom, Kristi, wanted to gift Megan & Ben their photographer! Isn’t that so sweet? So almost all of my communication had been with her until right before the wedding! I was so happy to meet Megan & watch her marry Ben still even though we had just met. The weather called for rain ALL DAY. I was so nervous on my drive up! Somehow right after the ceremony, the sky cleared & we were able to quickly get in some beautiful shots of the two of them before the rain started back!
