When Cat told me last June she was pregnant with her second sweet baby I was ecstatic. I cried immediately upon finding out. Once I took the time to count up the months I realized her newest addition would arrive in February. I jokingly told Cat she was going to have him on my birthday! She was given a due date of February 8th but Mavericks big brother was over a week late so the possibility was still there! The day before my birthday she let me know she was being induced and they would keep me updated. Her husband texted me around 10:40 pm on February 18th to let me know her water had broke! I got my stuff together & headed straight to Gwinnett Medical. I was there & shooting by 11:20! I was SO excited knowing my birthday was only 40 minutes away & it looked like I was going to have a birthday twin! At 11:56, on February 18th little Maverick decided he was ready and wasn’t sharing his birthday with anybody! I am SO thankful I was able to witness his big brothers birth as well as his. They are two of the most memorable days of my whole life. Cat was a complete rockstar the whole process & Maverick is absolutely perfect. I am so excited to have another sweet little man to watch grow up!
